eTwinning project ,, Different , but equal "

In a selfish and egocentrist society people forget mostly near them are others children or people with Special Needs Education who need understanding, help and support. Different but equal - is a principle of democracy and mutual respect. Diversity in ethnic and social categories on earth is the beauty of the human universe, each contributing to the cultural heritage with its specifics. History, traditions, culture of each ethnic group is an important chapter of universality. We conceived this project in order to show world that although students with Special Needs Education are different, they are still equal. If we will give to children with Special Needs Education a multitude of learning experiences, is more easy to integrate our students in higher mass.

It's my life! It's my decision!

As an answer to the increased number of drug-addicts, the National Project against Drugs "Be aware, not addicted", undertaken by AEPADO has launched the international competition "It's my life! It's my decision!”. The contest gathers teenagers aged 14 to 19 and stimulates their creativity in three sections: journalism articles, mottos and posters. Its main purpose is to encourage teens to find by themselves reasons not to use drugs and to convince them that their work and opinions can make a difference and are taken into count. The best materials received will help create the first guide of good practices against drugs written by youth for youth.

Social Theatre

Social Theatre works as a trigger for increasing tolerance, developing active citizenship amongst young people and promoting non-discriminative attitudes and behaviours. Social theatre is a powerful non-formal learning method in which participants engage directly with each other and work together with a view to finding solutions to achieving social cohesion and mutual understanding. Social Theatre aims at increasing the level of tolerance, the social involvement and the ability to be an active actor within the framework of social initiatives. It helps develop active citizenship responsibilities and it promotes non-discriminative attitudes and behaviour amongst young people.

Terra Incognita 4 - The European Adventure

Terra Incognita 4 – the European Adventure - has been developed as a multiplayer online game bringing together a wide range of audience. By allowing participants to virtually travel throughout Europe, the game has succeeded in enabling debates amongst participants on topics related to European integration, European values and cultural diversity. New technologies (Internet and mobile phone) have been used to involve participants and increase their awareness of European issues. The main objective of the project is to raise awareness on the European integration process and European cultural heritage amongst an audience that is usually uninformed about European developments.

The Social Marketplace

Fostering stakeholders’ interest in community projects and increasing their civic involvement are at the core of the Social Marketplace. The project reinvents partnerships between NGOs, individuals and corporate donors by allowing the different stakeholders to get together during the “social stock exchange” day. It brings an innovative solution to NGO’s funding issues, while enabling investors to develop their CSR portfolio and to become “community investors”. The practice aims at developing the civic interest of individuals and businesses as well as presenting opportunities for different stakeholders such as NGOs, businesses and citizens to work together and solve community problems. As such, the main target groups are NGOs, citizens and businesses. The core objective of the project is to help Romanian NGOs to refine and enhance their communication and fundraising strategies.
