On Thursday 29 October at 7 pm, the Galician Festival de Cans is showcased in Brussels, at the Vêndome cinema. The short films being shown will provide an excellent glimpse of the quality and diversity of the current Galician film industry: from the most innovative fantasy film to comedy, musical, drama and animated movies, the selection presents a wide-ranging view of the richness of contemporary Galician cinema. In cooperation with Arela association from Galicia, the Couto Mixto Bruxelas ASBL, which brings together Galician expatriates in Brussels, aims at bringing this festival closer to Europe, as the Association's main goal is to showcase a frank view of the Galician cultural reality abroad.
