Communication Toolbox

Do you have a project, event or activity which supports the objectives of the European Year of Creativity and Innovation 2009? Be part of the communication campaign. Follow the policy debate. Share in the Year by using its name and logo.

The name and the logo of the Year can be used for events, projects and activities taking place between 1 December 2008 and 31 December 2009, which contribute significantly to achieving one or more of the objectives of the Year.

For activities and events at EU level

Organisers of activities or events at EU level (that have a European added value), or involving several European countries, should complete the request form and return it to the European Commission at create2009@ec.europa.eu. Upon verification, you will receive access to the logo of the Year and the Communication toolbox.

For activities and events at national, regional, or local level

Your National Coordinator is entitled to recognize officially your activities and authorise the use of the logo and other material associated with the Year. Organisers of initiatives at national, regional or local level should contact their respective National Coordinator proving that the initiative meets the eligibility criteria. Please send the request form to your National Coordinator and copy to create2009@ec.europa.eu. Upon verification, you will receive access to the logo of the Year and the Communication toolbox.

By using the name and the logo, you accept to link them only to aims which are compatible with the principles and public purpose objectives of the Year, as well as with the existing copyright rules.

The Communication toolbox allows you to label and illustrate your events and activities associated with the European Year of Creativity and Innovation 2009 by customising templates in the official campaign design of the Year.

The toolbox contains a style guide, the official logo of the Year, information and promotion material and an editorial kit.
